Access Educational Loans
President Barack Obama donated this year $125,000 of his $1.4 million dollar Nobel Peace Prize award to an educational organization called College Summit. This was to make good on a promise he made to see that every American student is able to attain collegiate success.
"We have received large, personal donations before, but not from anyone as prominent as the President of the United States," J.B. Schramm, Founder and CEO of College Summit told Suite101 in an interview. "The award will be directly supporting students and educators at our partner schools across the country."
