Average Interest Rate For Car Loan
With 3,995 traffic accident deaths, California drivers chalked up the highest number of automobile fatalities in 2008.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration places Texas in second among dangerous driving states with 3,466 car accident deaths. Florida was third with 3,213 fatalities.
Yet the average car insurance rates quoted via Insurance.com to Californians in November 2009 was US$1,713 per year. California’s lowest average rate from over a dozen car insurers is 5% less than November’s national average of $1,805 – statistics that Insurance.com RateWatch monitors monthly.
The average annual car insurance premium for Texans was $1,836. At $2,101 Floridians pay an average rate 14.4% higher than the Texan average. This is despite the fact that Florida drivers experienced fewer traffic fatalities than Texans in 2008.
